The Secret Power of Great Shoes: What Women Really Think

by Allen Thompson

Isn't it strange the way women obsess over shoes?

They love to shop for shoes, try on shoes, buy shoes, and show off their shoes. It's practically an obsession with them.

Most women have a dozen or more pairs of shoes. And some women have hundreds of pairs.

On the other hand, most men couldn't care less about shoes.

We see them as something we put on our feet to protect us in case we should step on something sharp. And we may wear our favorite and most comfortable pair of shoes until they fall completely apart (to the horror of our girlfriends and wives and mothers).

And most men really couldn't care less what kind of shoes a woman is wearing.

It doesn't really matter to us if she's got six inch heels or sneakers, if they're brown or blue, or even if they match her purse, or belt, or shirt, or whatever it is they're supposed to match.

You will never see "great shoes" listed in any survey as an important quality that a man looks for in a woman.

However, women do notice our shoes.

In fact, women pay way too much attention to the shoes we choose to buy and wear and they make all kinds of silent judgments about us as a result.

What we put on our feet seems to be important to women for some reason.

Why? Who knows. That's just the way it is.

I'll never forget going to work years ago wearing my brand new, very nice, and somewhat expensive shoes.

The very first thing said to me as a I walked into the building was not "hello" or "good morning" or "how are you" but NICE SHOES... and by quite an attractive lady.

To notice such a thing was quite strange to me, but apparently quite normal in her little world where shoes are seen as being super important.

So the moral of the story is...

Spend a few bucks on some cool shoes.

Your investment will pay off handsomely with the women.

They will notice them.

And they will notice you
